Mr. V. Vidyasagar

Vidyasagar has been a pioneer in the aluminium industry in India, with many firsts to his credit. Starting out as a small trader in aluminium extrusions, he went on to establish the first aluminium extrusion plant in the then combined state of Andhra Pradesh, the eighth in the country. Then he went from strength to strength by collaborating with various multinationals in the US and Europe through joint ventures and technical licensing. Alongside the growth of his company, he has been supporting many other ancillaries and providing employment to millions. At every opportunity he gets he has been championing the cause of medium-sized industries, such as at CII conclaves and seminars, international trade expos, etc.
